Physical Exam FAQ

How long does the appointment take?
You should plan for approximately 45–60 minutes for the full physical exam, which includes the head-to-toe examination and in-house lab draw. The follow-up visit to review your results is typically 20–30 minutes and is scheduled after your lab results are processed.
When will I receive my lab results?
Most in-house lab results are available within 24–72 hours. Once your results are ready, we will contact you to schedule your follow-up visit to review everything with your provider. You will also have access to your results through the patient portal.
Is the $300 truly all-inclusive?
Yes — the $300 flat fee covers your full physical exam, all 8 standard in-house lab tests, the follow-up visit to review results, and a prescription if clinically appropriate. There are no additional charges for any of these items. The only exception is if your provider determines that additional specialized labs are clinically necessary — in which case, they will discuss any added costs with you before proceeding.
Do I need to fast before my appointment?
Fasting for 8–12 hours before your appointment is recommended for the most accurate results on certain tests, including your lipid panel and fasting glucose. We recommend drinking water normally and avoiding food and non-water beverages from the night before. Please let us know at the time of booking if fasting is a concern.
Is insurance accepted?
Our physical exam is offered as a transparent cash-pay service at $300 — no insurance required. Many patients find that this is more affordable and less hassle than navigating insurance for preventive care. We do not bill insurance for this service.
